When two mini excavators were stolen from the side of the road late one night, the thieves had not realised that there was a tracking system installed despite obvious signs that they had been looking. 

Thanks to the alerts configured on the platform, the owner had a notification immediately that they had moved from the location they had been left in over night. They notified the police immediately with the exact Google Satellite imagery and the whereabouts of the equipment was pinpointed to an outbuilding on property around 20 miles away. 

The police where able to obtain a warrant and the equipment was recovered and returned less than 24 hours after they were stolen. The total value of the equipment was around £30,000.00 so the customer was obviously relieved to have them back and get them back on site almost immediately.
